TNPSC Jobs 2012 for Chemist, Assistant Geologist, Labour Officer

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has advertised a vacancy notification for the position of Chemist, Assistant Geologist, and Labor Officer.

Job Details:

1. Chemist (Tamil Nadu Industries Service)

No. of Vacancies - 03 [(GT-01, MBC/ DC-01, SC (A) -1 (W)]

Educational Qualification - Applicant should be passed with at least second division marks in PG with any one of Chemical Technology/ Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry / Associate ship Diploma from recognized Institution.

Experience - should have  at least two years working experience in field of research in applied chemistry, pure or Analytical chemistry or Applied Chemistry from recognized university

Scale of Pay - Rs. 9300-34,800/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 4700/- Per Month.

2. Assistant Geologist

No. of Vacancies - 07 Vacancies [(GT - 02 (1 W),  BC-01, MBC/DC-02 (1W), SC-01, SC (A)-1 (W)]

Educational Qualification - Graduation  with subject of Geology from recognized University.

 Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,700/- Per Month.

3. Labor Officer (Tamil Nadu Labor Service)

No. of vacancies: 5

Educational Qualification: MLM/ Degree with Diploma in Social work/ Labor Relations/ Social Science or Social Welfare

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- Per Month.

Age Limit: For all of above jobs,   For SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC, BCM and DW of all Category – At least 18 years of age but not upper limit of age.

Others: Minimum 18 years but not more than 30 years. Note – Age will be reckoned as on 01st of July, 2012.

Selection Process: Written Examination and Interview

Examination Centre: Chennai

Examination Fee: Rs. 150/- (Examination Fee Rs. 100/- with Cost of Application Rs. 50/ -)
